Allocating this money in the above ways will have a big impact on our children at Pixmore Junior School allowing them to access a wider range of curricular and extra-curricular sports. This will encourage children to take up different sports within the school and in our local community. Promoting sport is very important for our school as it has a positive effect on the healthy lifestyle of the children. We do this in a variety of ways; extra clubs before school, at lunchtime, after school, having sports weeks and taking part in school sporting events and having a high expectation level in P.E lessons. All children have the opportunity to be active at break and lunchtimes by up-skilling a Lunch Time Supervisor to lead games and giving them different equipment to use at lunchtimes.
Sports Premium plans and funding are attached at the bottom of the page.
