The Pixmore School Association (PSA), is a small, friendly groups of Parents and Staff who organise interesting and enjoyable fundraising events to raise money for Pixmore School. This money is then used to buy items that enhance the education of all our children and which are not covered in the school budget.

So far this year we have organised the following events:-

Supported the Year 6 Enterprise Fair
Things we have purchased for the school
Over the years, the money raised has enabled us to purchase new wall bars and a PA system for the school hall, and interactive smart boards and new furniture for the classrooms. We have completely renewed the cookery area and refurbished the Art room. We have helped with the purchase of outdoor play equipment and benches and the development of a nature trail around the school grounds. We have also provided gardening equipment, sports kits for the school, and more recently, every child was presented with a commemorative coin to celebrate the Royal Wedding. This year the PSA were able to purchase a sail for the school grounds which will provide an outdoor classroom for the children as well as shade in the summer.
Being a member of the PSA and raising funds for the child of Pixmore School is rewarding, beneficial and fun. Every parent at Pixmore is automatically a member of the PSA. The committee members however, are nominated each year at our annual AGM and then usually meet twice a term in order to discuss up-and-coming events. We are always looking for new enthusiastic members and are always keen to hear new fundraising ideas.
Even if you are not able to join the PSA committee, please try to make the time to attend our events. We aim to make them enjoyable for both parents and children, and please remember all money raised benefits all our children, making their time at Pixmore School a little bit more fun!
